2004 Texas State Quarter - First Day Coin Cover
• Contains two uncirculated Texas quarters (P & D).
• Features a 37¢ U.S. Flag stamp, postmarked August 26, 2004 - Austin, Texas, marking the official first day of issue.
• The Texas quarter was the 28th release in the 50 State Quarters Program.
• The reverse design by Norman Nemeth includes the Lone Star, an outline of the state, and the inscription “The Lone Star State - 1845.”
• Symbolizes Texas pride, independence, and its celebrated state identity.
2004 Iowa State Quarter - First Day Coin Cover
• Includes two uncirculated Iowa quarters (P & D).
• Features a 37¢ U.S. Flag stamp, postmarked August 30, 2004 - Des Moines, Iowa, the day of issue.
• Iowa’s quarter was the 29th coin in the 50 State Quarters Program.
• Designed by John Mercanti and based on Grant Wood’s artwork, the reverse depicts a one-room schoolhouse, a teacher instructing students, and the phrase “Foundation in Education.”
• Honors Iowa’s strong commitment to public education and its rural heritage.
