This right here is a one-of-a-kind piece of history. The Purple Front Train Car from Geauga Lake is now looking for a forever home. The Double Loop at Geauga Lake was one of the first looping rollercoasters in the country. There were two trains, one yellow and one red (repainted to purple in 2000) and I know I sat in this cart many times as a kid and I'm sure you probably have too. Geauga Lake was a staple of our community for 120 years and the Double Loop was added in 1977. AND NOW....we, at KimsKorner / Blazing Auctions have decided to auction it off and donate all proceeds, yes 100% of the proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association as a piggyback to Anna Maria of Aurora's Annual Car Show.
